President to Myanmar tomorrow; scheduled to meet with Manmohan Singh as well

President Mahinda Rajapaksa will leave for Myanmar tomorrow to participate at the BIMSTEC Summit where leaders of seven Asian States will meet.

President Rajapaksa will also meet with Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and Myanmar leaders on the sidelines of the sub-regional grouping.

The members of the BIMSTEC grouping which is the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation, are Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Thailand, Bhutan, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
